EVERY 'SOLE' MATTERS
Thousands of children in Uganda suffer from a crippling foot parasite called jiggers. Sole Hope is a ministry that's dedicated to helping restore lives one 'sole' at a time.
Cassidy Camp, a member here at Center Star, is the Sole Hope Advocate for North Alabama. She works alongside Sole Hope to connect with churches, organizations, and individuals for fundraisers, speaking engagements, or help in hosting a local Sole Hope event in your area! Room in the Inn Shoals Inc. is an interfaith, community-based partnership that provides food and shelter to homeless during the winter months. We are made up of over 30+ congregations and organizations from all over the Shoals area. We provide nightly emergency shelter beginning nightly November 1st until March 24th.

GUATEMALA MISSIONS
Our Home Away From Home
Over the past few decades, God has given us a special place for the areas of Central America in our hearts here at Center Star. Since 1993, we have participated in many efforts to show our support and help spread the Gospel across places like Honduras, Costa Rica and Guatemala. There have been some major investments made in helping purchase land for schools, working in local villages, conducting VBS and outreach events, providing vehicles for transportation and many building projects for the surrounding churches.
Our most recent efforts have been focused in Guatemala at the Casa Aleluya Children's Home. Casa provides a home to over 400 children who have been abandoned or abused. They offer them a safe place to live along with 3 meals per day, schooling/education, medical attention, and so much more. In 2019, God called our Student Pastors, Erik and Amanda Hunt, to serve as full-time missionaries in Guatemala. They have founded a ministry called 'Hands of Hope International' to support their efforts while serving as missionaries. We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with them as they serve alongside Casa and other local ministries. Their goal is to serve with organizing outreach events around the country like providing wood burning cook stoves and water filter systems in the local villages, hosting children outreach events and feeding families that are in need - ultimately finding ways to share the Gospel and the love of Christ with others.

'Mission 25' is our In-House Missions Ministry that is focused on helping with the many areas here within our community and all around the world. By partnering with other ministries like the Samaritan's Purse or with our local CLBA's Backpack Drive, we are able to supply household goods and other items to many who are in need.
Our ministry is founded upon the Bible passages from Matthew 25:34-45,
with the vision of putting 'God’s Love' into action.
